WPCredits is a program at Universidad Fidélitas that allows students to contribute to the WordPress community while developing technical and professional skills. My participation focuses on the Polyglots team.

What My Contribution Involves

I translate strings from English into Costa Rican Spanish on the WordPress translation platform. My work includes:

• Translating pending strings for WooCommerce and related plugins.
• Applying the locale glossary to maintain consistency.
• Respecting placeholders (%s, %d, %1$s) and HTML tags without modifying them.
• Reviewing each translation to ensure it sounds natural and fits the context of the interface.

Expected Scope

By the end of the program, I expect to have completed a significant number of approved translations for es-CR, received contribution credits, and gained the judgment needed to continue translating on my own.
